This course has been designed primarily to meet the needs of the "Culturas": the independent language institutions of Spanish-speaking Latin America. The general aim of this course is to provide students of over twelve years of age with a platform of structures and active vocabulary on which to base a wider knowledge of the language. Special attention is paid to the difficulties that have to be overcome by Spanish speakers. The detailed notes in the Teacher's Book have been prepared to help towards this end.
