The Reading Aloud seccions in this book deal with common difficulties of pronunciation likely to be encountered. This is done mainly by means of the modern principle of contrast. Each sound is contrasted with another sound with are different in one sound only. Then similar words are practised in sentences. Finally general practice in these sounds is given.
