**English for foreign students - Teachers Book 2**: Teachers Book 2:

Preface:

Teacher's Book Two begins with some suggestions on teaching methods in general: planning a course, the place of the text-book, preparing a lesson, questioning in the classroom, securing class co-operation, the student's notebook, homework and work outside the classroom, use of the blackboard and other teaching aids, equipping an English Room. There follows some further guidance on the use of the Students' Book, supplementing that already given in Teacher's Book One. Detailed Lesson Notes re provided for each of the seventeen Lessons in Book Two, and there is a complete Key to the Exercises. Lists of books which the teacher will find helpful are given in Teacher's Books One and Three.
Constant revision of vocabulary and structures already learnt is essential to good language teaching, and this need for revision is emphasised throughout Teacher's Book Two.
Groups of related words met so far are listed in the Lesson Notes for vocabulary practice and to help in the preparation of oral and written composition, and a full list of these groups of words is given on page 143. Reference from the Students' Book to the Teacher's Book is made easy by the use of the same serial numbers for sentence patterns in both books.
